A renowned Poultry Manufacturer based in
**Breakwater** are seeking the assistance of an
**experienced OHS Coordinator** to commence immediately for a 12 month maternity leave contract with the possibility of extension.

**Core Duties**:

- Performing Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis
- Coordinating and facilitating timely, expert WHS advice and assistance to managers/supervisors in managing WHS
- Monitoring of staff/Visitor/Contractor and Property/Security/Hazard incident reports to ensure that incidents/accidents are appropriately investigated
- Providing WHS auditing services to ensure that the organisation is able to meet its auditing requirements
- Ensuring that the organisation is aware of, and complies with, all legislation in relation to the use of its plant, equipment and substances, as well as in all workplace activities
- Investigating accidents and unsafe working conditions
- Conducting training sessions and Toolbox talks

**Requirements**:

- Certificate IV qualification in WHS or relevant experience
- Experience in risk assessment and workplace inspections
- Experience in the development and implementation and continuous improvement of WHS management systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate work groups to ensure WHS initiatives are delivered and development opportunities are identified
- Extensive knowledge of relevant WHS legislation and standards
- Ability to analyse, review and improve operational processes
- Extensive computer skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal

As you will be working for a busy site, you will need to hit the ground running. You will be required to work Monday - Friday 8 hours per day, however shift times are flexible.
