Senior Azure DevOps Engineer (Bicep)
Salt have partnered with a leading Australian company that is on the lookout for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join their Sydney team
They are an established ASX listed company and are looking to interview for this role NOW.

What you'll bring?
5+ years experience as a Cloud Engineer
Professional experience working with the Azure Cloud Platform
Experience creating and implementing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps
An Infrastructure and networking background
Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure services and offerings, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
IaC experience using either Bicep OR Terraform
Azure Certifications - Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, Azure Network Engineer
Project work experience - you've worked on migrations or new Azure Cloud implementations
Zscaler experience
Understanding of Cost management and security
Proven ability to take ownership of projects and deliver critical workloads
A 'doer' approach where you roll your sleeves up and get things done
What you'll be doing?
Work within an Agile DevOps team, prioritising both BAU & Project work.
Work with an Azure Architect and other Azure DevOps Engineers to implement and manage the Azure estate utilising Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architected Framework
DevOps and Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and IaC (Bicep)
Cloud Migration and Innovation: Assist consumer teams in migrating their solution effectively into the newly designed Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zone Framework (This will be a mix of future on-premise migrations as well as legacy Landing zone framework workload migrations)
Providing documentation and fostering Azure Solution best practices
