**Role Description**:
The Energy Analyst role is an opportunity in our Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Orchestration Team based at our Perth Central Park location.

This role provides extensive insights into the operations of the energy market and power system, enabling you to develop a deeper comprehension of their nuances and complexities. The Energy Analyst will leverage their technical knowledge/experience in the energy sector as well as their analytical skillset to act on these insights in performing the core responsibilities of the role.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Provide analytical expertise to inform day-to-day operational decisions and strategy.
- Generate reports and insights and clearly articulate recommendations and results to stakeholders using appropriate presentation means.
- Identify, address, and resolve operational issues.
- Support and inform technology decisions associated with DER aggregation and orchestration, and supporting the delivery of new and existing DER Pilots and Programs.
- Operate the DER platforms that enable the effective monitoring and control of DER assets.

**What you will bring**:

- Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret complex information (experience with DER would be highly regarded).
- 2+ years' experience working within the electricity industry including demonstrated recent experience in a role with a strong technical focus (e.g. engineering, commerce, computing or other related discipline).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail.
- Ability to develop solid relationships both internally and externally.
- Experience managing third party technology partners/suppliers is preferred.
