What does the Clinical Team Lead do?
Provide support, guidance, and mentoring of students and Youth Care Coordinator's
Actively assist in progressing the growth and development of the service, in line with the Strategic Plan and client demand.
Undertake a range of assessments of young people as appropriate, and work with young people at different stages of mental illness.
Work collaboratively with the young person to develop individual recovery plans and/or service plans that are person-centred and feedback led with the young person central to their own care planning.
Psychological interventions as appropriate in collaboration with, or under direction of, other Psychologists and other Senior Clinicians.
Facilitate intake and case conference meetings with internal and external service providers to ensure a positive and collaborative approach to assisting the young person
What You'll Have
Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or other relevant allied health discipline
Current full registration ((or a provisional psychologist towards the end of their internship) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or current full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
Have a minimum of 2-3 years' clinical experience in the mental health sector
Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of recovery focused practice, specifically to the youth population.
Have a clear understanding and/or knowledge of the concept and impact of mental health issues in the community.
