We are seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician to join Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Gold Coast, based in Carrara,Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Australia are primary vehicle distribution centre's for Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks and UD Trucks, offering sales, service and parts for Volvo Group vehicles.Your future teamReporting to the Workshop Manager, the team of 23 workshop staff are made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Apprentices, Service Advisor's and Costing Clerk's.

We have opportunties to join our Day or Afternoon shift - Day shift has working hours of 6:30am to 2:30pm.
Afternoon shift has working hours of 2:30pm to 10:30pm (with 18% afternoon shift loading).

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing and maintenance on trucks and buses, in line with Volvo Group's standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Steering and suspension repairsElectrical faults, diagnosis and repairsBraking systems diagnosis and repairsComponent overhaulsDriveline repairsPreventative maintenance services and repairsOffisite and breakdown repairsWho are you?
