About the role

We currently seek a full-time/part time Dental Receptionist to join our team working mainly in The Hills.

Location

Castle Hill and Cherrybrook clinics

Work hours

38 hours full time position. Flexible work days (depend on business need and the roster) between Monday to Saturday averaging 4 days a week. Most of the time from 7.40 am to 6.10 pm (it could be shorter based on the roster)

Career Path

You may also be trained as dental assistant role, if required.

Key responsibilities
- Meet and greet patients warmly and professionally
- Answer high volume incoming patient calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Accurately receive and convey messages in writing, electronically and verbally
- Address patient and other health professional's queries, in a timely manner
- Liaise with referring dentists, patients and other dental staff
- Coordinate and confirm appointments
- Provide patients with accurate quotes for surgery
- Advise patients on surgery preparation procedures
- Accurately process billing, explain payment details, collect transactions and issue receipts
- Collect required documents (Medical History forms, consent forms etc) from patients
- Appointment confirmation
- Overdue account following up
- Follow company policies and protocol for cross-infection control
- Other tasks

- Greet patients
- Assist the Dentist chair side during dental procedures for both general dental and major dental treatment
- Process x-rays and arrange lab work
- Sterilization of dental instruments
- Follow company policies and protocol for cross-infection control
- Re-stock the surgery room
- Assist in clinical and administration duties
