This position is responsible for coordinating capital expenditure planning, midlife rebuilds, and warranty repairs for underground machinery, ensuring optimal performance and lifecycle management.The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external contractors, including OEMs, to forecast machine usage, schedule maintenance, and manage resources.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic planning in a collaborative and supportive team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage long-term maintenance plans and capital projectsLiaise with external contractors and OEMs for off-site rebuildsTrack costs, build budgets, and manage planning spreadsheetsEnsure timely availability of parts and resources for scheduled maintenanceMaintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAbout youYou are a proactive and detail-oriented maintenance professional with a strong background in mobile equipment planning.

With a solid understanding of maintenance workflows and a passion for continuous improvement, you're ready to take ownership of long-term planning and contribute meaningfully to operational excellence.Key Skills RequiredPlanning Expertise: Proven experience in mobile maintenance planning, preferably in mining or heavy industryTechnical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with planning systems like ProntoBudgeting & Forecasting: Ability to build and manage budgets, track costs, and forecast maintenance needsStakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse teamsAttention to Detail: High level of accuracy in planning, scheduling, and documentationYour ability to build strong relationships-both internally and externally-combined with your technical proficiency and problem-solving mindset, makes you a valuable asset to any team.
