**THE ROLE**

Fleming's Nurseries is an **employer of choice **in the horticulture industry and Dandenong Ranges. Based in **Monbulk**, we are seeking full time nursery hands/production workers to join our fun, energetic and friendly team.

Join our production team and get your foot in the door for a pathway towards management.

We are seeking those with previous experience as well as those that are new to our industry and provide full onsite training.

The successful applicants will be seeking a **career**, eager to learn and open to experiencing nursery work on any level. You will be the type of pf person who enjoys **variety** and working outside (rail, hail, or shine). The role is very hands on and fast paced so you will need to be physically fit and capable to do manual work.

**Duties of the Roles (not limited to)**:

- Planting and/or potting
- Pruning, staking, and weeding
- Budding and Grafting
- Learning the techniques of quality tree production
- Selecting and picking quality plants for orders
- Labelling and repotting for despatch
- Record and documentation control
- Stocktake
- Irrigation control
- Site maintenance
- General Nursery and Production duties

**KEY ATTRIBUTES**
- Fit and able (heavy lifting involved)
- Willing to work as part of the team
- Have a great work ethic and attitude
- Ability to be flexible with tasks
- Good communication skills
- Eye for detail
- Self-motivated
- Able to work unsupervised
- Own transport and licence (no public transport nearby)
- General interest in horticulture and learning
- Previous experience within a similar environment preferred
