We are seeking a Project Accountant to join our team on a Major Construction project in Karratha.
There is a very attractive salary package with site uplift and PCB on offer and will see the successful incumbent working on a 2:1 roster.
As the Project Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial management support and assistance for the execution of project works by compiling and submitting on time and accurate progress claims and cost reports.Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include:Attractive site uplift and Project Completion Bonus
Gain experience working on high profile projects with tier 1 clients.High potential to work on similar projects thereafter - we want to keep top talent in the business and prioritise redeployments.Key Responsibilities:Manage project accounting activities, including cost tracking, invoicing and review project budgets and forecastsEnsure compliance with company policies and proceduresAnalyze project financial data and provide recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvementsCollaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project forecasting and reportingCoordinate with corporate accounting to ensure accurate and timely project financial reportingReview and approve project-related invoices, expenses, and paymentsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for project stakeholdersProvide financial leadership and support to the project teamWhat you'll bring:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA or CMA certification preferred5+ years of experience in project accounting or related fieldStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesExperience with project accounting software and ERP systemsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesWillingness to work on-site at the project locationLife at MonadelphousThere's lots to get involved in, celebratory or cultural events and so much more.
