**Excavator Fitter**

We have a current requirement for experienced **Fitters** in Liebherr Excavators and Caterpillar Loader maintenance to join our growing Cowal Gold Operation. The positions will be engaged in all facets of scheduled PM maintenance, daily servicing, breakdowns and repairs to our mobile mining fleet.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the Diesel Fitter role offers an opportunity for a highly experienced individual to join our remarkable Mobile Maintenance team. Key result areas in this role include:

- Working cooperatively with the team to maintain the mobile plant fleet
- Conduct PM maintenance and breakdown repair to a high standard
- Always maintain the highest standard of housekeeping
- Proactive in identifying and reporting potential hazards
- Completing required safety duties such as job inspections, task planning, JHAs, Take 5s and other as required
- Participating in root cause analysis activities.

**About you**

To be successful in this position you will be a trade qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter, with a significant commitment to working safely and a positive "can do" attitude. It is a desirable attribute that you have and can demonstrate:

- Experience in mobile maintenance in a mining environment
- Previous experience on Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr or Hitachi machinery
- Possess the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- High Risk Work licencing such as dogging, rigging, crane, will be highly regarded
