Known for supporting major projects across mining, rail, and heavy industry, this organisation delivers precision component rebuilds and testing services to Tier 1 clients across Australia.
With a strong safety culture and a commitment to Lean practices, the team operates in a modern, well-equipped facility focused on reliability, quality, and continuous improvement.
Roster $57.36hr (Dayshift): Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Key Duties Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble GE 7FDL heavy diesel engines Overhaul major engine components including pumps, turbochargers, and power assemblies Perform routine servicing and maintenance of workshop equipment Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on diesel engines and heavy machinery Conduct inspections to ensure operational efficiency and compliance Document repair activities, parts usage, and time allocation Collaborate with team members to meet production targets Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures Participate in extensive in-house training and development What You Bring Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or equivalent Experience working on GE 7FDL engines or similar heavy diesel platforms Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability Ability to interpret technical documentation and follow repair procedures Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Commitment to safety and quality standards Willingness to learn and grow within a high-performing team Pay & Perks Competitive hourly rate: Days: from $57.36hr Penalty rates for public holidays (up to 150%) Stable workshop-based role with long-term potential If this role sounds like it's for you, please feel free to send your CV in today.
