Job Title: Experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our Goldfields Field Service team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel equipment in a fast-paced mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of heavy diesel equipment
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing complex mechanical issues
  • Performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Collaborating with other technicians and supervisors to achieve team goals
Requirements:
  • Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate
  • HR driver's licence
  • Experience with surface mining fleets - CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi
  • Strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience
  • Excellent communication and WHS knowledge
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
