**About the Position**

Are you a detail-orientated team player, with a proactive approach to use your accounts receivable experience to make a difference? The City of Stirling's Finance team is offering an exciting opportunity for a Rates and Receivables Officer to join our Rates team until October 2025.

As a Rates & Receivables Officer at the City of Stirling, you will be responsible for maintaining the City's Property and Rates records, managing various Accounts Receivable functions, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer invoicing. You will provide high-quality customer service, assist with rating queries, and liaise with debtors to manage debt recovery processes.

Your role will involve developing efficient processes to handle a high volume of transactions, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the Rates Services Team Leader in implementing the City's policies. Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

The duties of the Rates & Receivables Officer will include but are not limited to:

- Maintain the City's Property and Rates records.
- Maintain Accounts Receivable functions, including waste management, commercial bins, fines, and more.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all customer invoicing.
- Provide high-quality customer service and assistance with rating queries.
- Liaise with debtors and manage debt recovery processes.

**About You**
- Proven track record in debt recovery and understanding of legal and court recovery procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation and public presentation.
- Ability to work in a high-volume customer experience environment with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, with effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel and Outlook.

This temporary is a full-time position is a Level 5 Inside Workforce Agreement positions which attract a salary from $77,514 to $81,597 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.

- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
- Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance
