The Role
The ABC is looking for a creative and visionary leader to shape the future of our Children's and Family slate.
In this role, you'll manage the development and production of scripted drama, comedy and factual programs that are original, diverse and loved by audiences across Australia.
You'll spot and nurture fresh ideas, provide strong editorial guidance and collaborate with producers, funding bodies and creative partners to bring bold stories to life.
You'll have the chance to work across a wide range of projects, ensuring they meet ABC's high standards while also capturing the imagination of young audiences.
You'll utilise your exceptional communication skills as you foster and maintain key relationships within the Screen division and across the ABC including Distribution, Marketing, Digital ABC Audiences, and ABC Commercial.

About You
Creative, decisive and versatile, you'll bring proven experience commissioning and producing children's content, strong editorial judgment and a deep understanding of local and international trends in children's and family programming.
With your strong networks and knowledge of the production and funding landscape, you'll be able to maintain and build lasting creative partnerships both in Australia and internationally.
