APG Workforce are currently looking for an Administration Officer for a Part Time 6-month contract Government Sector based in Parramatta + WFH.
**Start Date: ASAP**
**End Date: 6 months**
**Pay Rate: $50.08 Per Hour + super**
**Hours: 3 Days Per week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday**
**Location: Parramatta + WFH - 1 Day required in office per week**
**Primary purpose of the role**
The Divisional Assistant provides high-level administrative support to Directors and their branches to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Division and support the achievement of operational objectives.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Provide high-level administrative services and coordination to support the Directors' contribution to achievement of operational objectives.
- Support operational projects and provide administration support functions at a senior level including, but not limited to, coordinating and distributing papers and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish, maintain, monitor and improve the effectiveness of administrative processes and document and information control systems to enhance delivery of efficient and quality outcomes for the Division.
- Contribute to developing, implementing and evaluating innovative internal communications and engagement strategies to support the Division's business needs, and communications tools and materials to inform and engage Division employees and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate events that support the Division's engagement objectives.
- Work closely with business units to identify opportunities for innovative and engaging content and communication tools that encourage cross-Departmental communications and collaboration.
- Manage diary appointments and daily schedules on behalf of one or more Directors to ensure optimal and effective use of Directors' time, including organising meetings and conferences, preparing timely agendas and meeting documentation to make available for the Directors, and tracking progress of actions to enable completion of projects and initiatives within priority timetables and business commitments.
- Identify, prioritise and determine the urgency of critical or sensitive issues for the Director's attention to enable the timely discussion and resolution of business-critical issues.
**Essential requirements**
- Strong people and written communication skills. No specific knowledge necessary, experience with TRIM is desirable but not required.
- Understanding of Government/Parliamentary processes is also desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks to meet strict deadlines
