In this rewarding role, you will oversee the daily care and well-being of young people in our residential care homes, guiding and supporting a team of Residential Carers.
As a key member of our Out of Home Care Program, you'll work closely with the Residential Care Coordinator to ensure that every day is filled with growth, stability, and positive development for the young people in our care.
Your mission will be to foster a safe, healthy, and harmonious home environment through exceptional leadership, the application of therapeutic care techniques, and inspiring role modelling.

This is a Permanent Full-time (38 hours per week) opportunity based in Geelong (Barwon region) within our Out of Home Care Program.
The position reports to the Residential Care Coordinator.
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant bachelor's degree with experience including four (4) additional mandatory competencies (top up units); or relevant diploma with substantial experience including four (4) additional mandatory competencies (top up units).
Proven skills and experience in development of behavioural management programs for children and adolescents with challenging behaviours.
Demonstrated ability to supervise, lead and support a team of residential care workers.
Ability to participate collaboratively and constructively within teams of peers, staff and other stakeholders, as well as initiative and effective personal judgement when working alone.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the residential care field, particularly within a therapeutic environment.

You Must Have a
Valid and current Driver's Licence;
Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
