Job Description Summary

Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Worker to join Service Stream based in our Huntingwood office.
About the Role

Service Stream's Telecommunications division are currently seeking Civil Workers to join our growing company.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Huntingwood NSW

Reporting Line: State Field Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be primarily responsible for Building, Maintaining, and Decommissioning Telecommunication Networks, including but not limited to Optus, Uecomm, NBN, Telstra, TPG, Telco Authorities and Power Utility. You will also be responsible for the following:

- Work onsite/in field as part of one or multiple crews daily
- Willing and able to be part of a rostered-On Call Availability, including working outside normal working hours on a regular basis.
- Willing and able to work away from home from time to time
- Communicate/report on scheduled works changes to Field Supervisor.
- Participate of actual site start up (i.e., mandatory pre-start activities)
- Works in coordination with related 3rd parties such as landowners and regulatory authorities (e.g., power utility, council & transport).

About You

Qualifications - Desirable and Essential
- Hold a current driver's license MR or equivalent
- Construction OH&S Induction Card

Experience - Desirable and Essential
- Experience in civil labouring
- Experience in an Infrastructure Services environment
- Experience in civil, telecommunications and hands on problem solving
- Experience in the Telecommunications industry
- Safely Operate power tools
- Experience in Excavator Operations
- Experience in concrete restoration
- Experience in pit & conduit installations

Technical
- Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and asset management systems an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Work/ Excel/ Outlook)
- Ability to interpret construction plans & documents
- Good communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to respond calmly and decisively during a major incident or emergency
