Job Description Summary

Civil Worker - Field member will form part of the Field Delivery Team working as part of a team or as an individual contributor at times.

Build, Maintain and Decommission Telecommunication Networks, including but not limited to Optus, Uecomm, NBN, Telstra, TPG, Telco Authorities and Power Utility.

The Field Delivery Team will work across multiple work types and clients, reporting into the State Field Delivery Manager.
About the Role

Due to increased growth, Service Stream's Telecommunication division are currently seeking Civil Workers to join our growing team in Huntingwood.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Huntingwood, NSW

Reports to: State Field Delivery Manager

About the Role

As a Civil Worker you will form part of our Field Delivery Team. Your role will include building, maintaining, and decommissioning Telecommunication Networks including but not limited to; Optus, Uecomm, NBN, Telstra, TPG, Telco Authorities, and Power Utility.

About You
- Hold a Construction White Card
- Operator tickets; loader, excavator license - Preferred but not mandatory
- Hold a current MR or HR Divers License and have Reliable Transport to and from depot
- Work onsite/in field as part of one or multiple crews daily
- Willing and able to be part of a rostered-On Call Availability, including working outside normal working hours on a regular basis.
- Willing and able to work away from home from time to time - Planned or Emergency response works for client
- Civil Labouring experience
- Construction Labouring experience
- Trenching and pipe laying experience
- Install pits and manholes
- Concrete restoration experience
- Operating Non-Destructive Digger - Vacuum Excavator Truck
- Sound understanding of all Occupational Health & Safety procedures
- Ability to interpret Construction and DBYD plans
