Australia The Morphett Arms Hotel Full time

Carry out a range of maintenance tasks
- Perform general preventative maintenance
- Assist to evaluate and repair minor faults
- Cleaning roof and gutters of debris weekly
- To assist maintaining the garden areas within the Hotel - weeding, watering etc.
- To repair and maintain small faults with furniture and fixtures
- To repair and maintain faulty items in guest rooms
- To replace and install small items i.e. door handle, toilet roll holders, taps
- Keeping the overall Hotel appearance at peak level
- Ensure compliance with regulatory procedures, requirements and standards
- Assist other departments

**To be successful in this role, the applicant must possess**:

- Previous experience in repairs and maintenance essential
- A good eye for detail ensuring rooms and public areas are presented to a high standard at all times
- Skills to execute workmanship to a high standard
- Demonstrated experience working unsupervised and under time constraints
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties at to be able to work at heights including working overhead
- Willingness to assist with other maintenance tasks when required
- Available for morning shifts 8am-12pm 2-3 days a week

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

- Morning shift

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Glengowrie, SA 5044 (required)
