**The role**:
The Strategy Integration Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective integration of organisational strategy into policy, operations, programs of work and the leadership of key strategic cross functional projects. The position requires strategic thinking, highly developed communication, problem solving and collaboration skills, and a proven ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.
Stadiums Queensland (SQ) is a statutory body of the Queensland Government and given the strategic nature of this role, strong public sector, policy setting and/or corporate governance background is highly desirable. The Strategy and Policy Integration Manager is expected to be self-driven and undertake tasks and projects with mínimal supervision.

**Key tasks include**:

- Lead the implementation and ongoing monitoring of strategic programs of work, particularly associated with SQ's Organisational Plan (OneSQ Plan) Key Initiatives where strategy integration and cross business unit collaboration are necessary for success.
- Provide oversight and monitoring of SQ's Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Plan, including its implementation and regular reporting.
- Lead the development and review of strategic and operational internal policies and procedures where these policies and procedures are of strategic importance and where policies and procedures span the responsibility of two or more SQ business units.
- Provide high-level advice and support to the General Manager, Strategy and Operational Performance with the organisational strategic planning cascade and strategic operational reporting as required. This may specifically include assessment of delivery of SQ venue Business and Organisational Plans, and strategic alignment of venue and organisational plans to the SQ Strategic Plan.
- Lead the development of the SQ Annual Report, in close consultation with the Manager Media and Communication, and all relevant SQ personnel.
- Support the Manager, Strategy and Policy in the provision of briefs and documentation on Government policy and legislative proposals to the SQ Executive team, SQ Managers and to the Queensland Government, including briefing notes to SQ's shareholding Minister and the Premier. This includes Questions on Notice, Estimates Briefs, and matters associated with Cabinet and Cabinet Budget Review Committee consideration, and Bills and Reports to Parliament.

SQ is charged with the management of major sports facilities that are declared under Queensland Government regulation as being venues having the capacity to stage national or international sports events, recreational or entertainment experiences. SQ's portfolio of venues include Suncorp Stadium, The Gabba, Sleeman Sports Complex, Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre, Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Cbus Super Stadium, Queensland Tennis Centre and Heritage Bank Stadium.
