Delivering a $1B portfolio annually,the work we do is essential to bringing energy to our communities safely and reliably, while powering the nation's energy transition.With a diverse workforce of more than 2,300, we expertly deliver our services across Australia.About the roleWe're on the lookout for a licenced Electrical Inspector to join our team in a full-time, permanent rolebased out of our Tullamarine depot.You'll be at the forefront of ensuring compliance across Jemena Electricity Distribution Network and required to participate in the on-call roster.Key Responsibilities includeAttend to customer phone calls and enquiries, assisting with compliance issues related to rules, regulations, standards, and policiesREC consultation regarding switchboard and SLD drawings, metering and supply arrangementsSite meetings with customers and project managersAssist Network Connections team with all metering and connection or customer project queriesSupport the Dispatch and Control Room with Faults and EmergenciesProvide technical guidance to internal staff and electricity professionalsAttend, investigate and issue customer defect noticesInvestigate customer complaints regarding defects in relation to metering and servicing appointmentsWork with customer relations with investigations, finalisation and closing of defects issued to customersFacilitate and complete customer connections to the networkTimely completion of works activity records and other work-related documentation using digital work platforms.About YouIf you have strong technical expertise, hands-on experience, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, we want you on our team.To succeed in this role, you'll bring a solid understanding of regulatory requirements of the ESA, ES(G)R's, VSIR's, AS3000, AS2067, AS3010, AS5033, AS5139 and VESI ISTC procedures, electricity distribution assets, along with proven skills in inspection, customer service, stakeholder engagement and ability to work autonomously or closely within a team environment.Exercise sound judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to resolve complex issues in a creative and effective manner in order to meet customer and client objectives for the agreed work through the application of approved governanceAbility to prioritise workloads in a fluid environment"A" Grade Electrical Licence"G" Class Electrical Inspectors Licence (V Class endorsement highly desirable)Current Australian Drivers LicenceESI Worker CardWhy you should work for usWhat we do matters.
