Senior Planner

Monadelphous is currently seeking interest from Senior Planners to join our Tom Price team working closely with the Project Managers, Project leads and site based project teams.
You will be working collaboratively with the team to ensure ongoing schedule updates, project's completion progress are accurately reported back to the business.Working with Monadelphous offers many benefits, some of which include:Permanent full-time role with FIFO 8/6 and 5/2 4/3 rosters on offerOn the job mentoring and coachingInternal transfer and secondment opportunities within the businessYearly salary reviewsKey Responsibilities:Support the Project Controls function for the project including planning/scheduling activitiesPlan the labour hours, conduct regular meeting with team leaders to ensure on time delivery of projectsAnalysing qualitative or quantitative data, drawing conclusions and making recommendations for action in regards to planning/schedulingReview planning and scheduling documentation and identify ambiguities, risks and key issues to be considered by the project execution teamEnsure that appropriate planning and scheduling techniques and systems are implemented to meet the projects needsWorks cooperatively with others to accomplish project goalsHandle enquiry's and provide information and advice to team members regarding planning and schedulingPrepare planning/scheduling information into correspondence, forms, reports or databases; prepares information for dissemination to othersWhat you'll bring:Experience in planning/scheduling in contractor settings within resource sector is highly desirableProficient in the use of Primavera 6 & Microsoft Project is a mustAbility to formulate S-Curves and cross referencing rostered hours and scheduled hoursA thorough understandings of the importance of critical path and resource levelHave sound commercial experiencePrevious site experience is highly advantageousBe comfortable with FIFO arrangementHigh attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong interpersonal skills.Valid Australian Driver's LicenseProof of right to work in AustraliaLife at MonadelphousThere's lots to get involved in, celebratory or cultural events and so much more.
