Cyber Project Manager

To lead the end-to-end delivery of a strategic Identity Access Management (IAM) solution that enhances the organisation's identity governance, access controls, and data security.
This role is critical in ensuring the successful integration of IAM systems with existing infrastructure, ETL of data from various repositories, and aligning the implementation with organisational objectives, compliance requirements, and best practices.
The Project Manager will provide leadership, technical oversight, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams and driving organisational adoption of the new IAM processes and technologies.
Key responsibilitiesProject Planning and Management Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies as well as budgetary constraints.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Ensure alignment of the IAM implementation with organisational goals, compliance requirements, and security policies.
Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including IT, security, business units, and external vendors.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their requirements are incorporated into the IAM solution.
Technical Oversight Provide leadership and guidance on IAM best practices, including identity lifecycle management, access governance, and role-based access control (RBAC).
Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement relevant IAM solutions and oversee integration.
Ensure the IAM solution meets security, scalability, and performance requirements.
Data Management and ETL Expertise Coordinate efforts to ETL data from various repositories (e.g., HR systems, Active Directory, other databases) into the IAM system.
Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure smooth data migration and integration.
Risk and Compliance Management Identify and mitigate risks associated with the IAM implementation, including data security, system downtime, and compliance requirements.
Team Leadership Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, security, data management, and external vendors, to deliver the project.
Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure team members have the resources and support needed to succeed.
Testing and Quality Assurance Develop and oversee the execution of test plans to validate the IAM solution, including functionality, performance, UAT and security testing.
Change Management Develop and execute a change management plan to ensure smooth adoption of the IAM solution across the organisation.
Requirements Proven experience managing end-to-end IAM implementation projects, including planning, execution, and delivery Strong understanding of IAM concepts, tools, and technologies, such as Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint, or similar platforms Experience working with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business stakeholders, to deliver complex technical projects.
Familiarity with integrating IAM systems with enterprise applications and directories Experience managing projects in compliance with security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001) Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, access governance, role-based access control (RBAC), and privileged access management (PAM) Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams High attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
