Senior Cyber Security Project Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Cyber Security Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and monitoring of cyber security projects to ensure timely delivery. They will provide support in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation within the technology department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor the progress of cyber security projects to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation within the technology department.
  • Manage documentation, including project plans, reports, and risk assessments.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders and project teams.
  • Track and report on project milestones and deliverables to ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Assist with tracking and reporting on project progress and outcomes.
  • Proven record of coordination/managing projects that achieve security certifications such as ISO27001 and ISM.
  • Identify and escalate potential project risks or issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and frameworks.

Requirements:

  • A background in project coordination or project management, ideally within the technology sector.
  • Familiarity with cyber security practices and terminology.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
  • A proactive attitude and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Knowledge of public sector operations or regulations is advantageous.
