**About the Role**
SEE Civil are looking to welcome an experience WHS Advisor to join our high performing team. At SEE Civil, you can expect to work across a number of Civil and Urban Development projects. This is a full-time position based across our projects in the Northern NSW region. We are willing to provide accommodation on a 5/2 DIDO roster for the right person.
**Responsibilities will include**
- Team building and mentoring
- Carry out site safety inspections in line with legislation, policies and procedures
- Implementation of WHS strategies and initiatives
- Provide advice and guidance to project staff
- Document and assist in WHS investigations and incidents
- Conduct WHS Audits and report on findings
**Essential Skills and Attributes**
- Hold a Diploma in WHS
- Current Drug & Alcohol Screening/Testing Qualification
- A Safety Differently/Safety II mindset
- Experience on Civil Construction projects, ideally with a focus on urban development.
- Have a current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and adept at learning new IT systems
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screen
- Have WHS risk management knowledge to facilitate the development of safe work procedures
- A team player with a can do attitude that includes assisting disciplines other than WHS
**Desirable skills and experience;**
- Be a workplace rehabilitation and return to work coordinator
- Be a qualified in a higher-level incident investigation method such as ICAM, TapRooT, etc.
- Competent to conduct RPE Qualitative Fit Testing
- Plant operation or civil construction trade background or from the ground up experience
