The Role We're looking for a Head of Marketing to set the vision, hire the team, and scale Fitness Passport's marketing division and customer journey. This is a rare opportunity to join a company with strong product-market fit and take full ownership of how we grow. You'll define the strategy, establish the foundations, and make the first key hires on your team, while also being hands-on in the early stages. You will be instrumental in shaping FP's brand strategy and oversee execution of the visual identity & brand revolution. This role is a part-time, fixed-term position for 12 months and will be based out of our Sydney Head Office.
What you will be doing:
Lead the end-to-end marketing function, including team leadership, agency management, and budget ownership.
Drive the brand strategy and oversee execution of the visual identity & brand refresh project to ensure consistency across all touchpoints and alignment with company vision.
Overhaul and maintain marketing collateral and communications for members, employers, and facility partners to ensure clarity, engagement, and brand alignment.
Develop and implement lifecycle marketing strategies to enhance engagement and retention across all customer segments.
Design and execute campaigns to increase member lifetime value (LTV), reduce customer acquisition cost (CAC), and improve conversion across digital and offline channels.
Establish and track KPIs for engagement, acquisition, and retention; continuously optimize based on performance insights.
About You
Strong knowledge of the fitness industry or genuinely passionate about health, wellness and fitness.
Bring at least 5 years of proven experience in a head of or senior marketing leadership role, driving strategy, brand growth, and measurable results
Proven experience leading a full-stack marketing function in a B2B2C or subscription-based business.
Demonstrated success in brand transformation and lifecycle marketing across multiple customer segments.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
Strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving LTV, reducing CAC, and managing marketing budgets.
Strong agency management and creative direction background
Comfort operating independently and building from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.
