When that happens, we're not only making life better for small business, we'll be building a stronger economy that can change the world.How you'll make an impact:As an Inside Account Executive you will be responsible for growing, developing and managing Xero's relationships with existing Xero Accounting & Bookkeeping Partners.
This phone based role includes moving them through Xero status' by signing clients onto Xero, developing business plans with partners to develop their online strategy and managing within dedicated regions to recruit, educate and grow the Xero Partner channel.
What you'll do:Effective territory management through categorisation and prioritisation of all new and existing Accounting and Bookkeeping PartnersIdentify sales opportunities to build a sales pipelinePrioritise and manage your day to optimise calling time to meet monthly sales and call targetsIdentify opportunities to develop business plans to produce larger or longer term deals and work with the Partner to implement them and manage on an ongoing basisRun and present at Xero sales events and drive partner attendance to these events Increase penetration within the existing Partner base Ensure knowledge of Xero features and functionality is kept up to date via Xero training and update webinarsEnsure activity targets are met Increase and maintain the percentage of certified partners ensuring attendance of re-certification where requiredKeep all information, relating to inbound and outbound calls, up-to-date at all times inSalesforceWhat you'll bring with you: Direct experience in inbound phone and email sales with proven sales performance An interest and intrigue in the emerging online accounting marketAbility to create a quick and strong rapport with partners over the phoneAttention to detail and follow-upA process-driven mindset and takes ownership A go-getter mentality with loads of initiative and self-motivation Accounting product knowledge and understanding of the workings of an accounting practiceExperience with managing long term client relationshipsWhy Xero?
