Job Title: Fund Services Tax, Associate 2
We are seeking an experienced Tax Associate 2 to join our team. As a key member of our Global Delivery team, you will be responsible for preparing tax reporting packages and maintaining records in various systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare periodic tax distributions and provision calculations
Reconcile accounting records and ensure timely completion and submission of client reporting
Maintain taxation system records and client details
Liaise with internal teams to obtain necessary information
You will also establish strong working relationships with managers and peers, develop a sound understanding of controls and procedures, and coordinate the receipt and resolution of comments on tax distributions and provision calculations.
In addition, you will train and assist less experienced staff, test new applications and distribution templates, and suggest process improvements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field plus 1-2 years of experience
Prior taxation services experience preferred
Commenced or willing to undertake CPA or CA qualification
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines. They will also have strong problem-solving and resolution skills, superior attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
