About the Role
As the Head of Department, you will be committed to improving the educational outcomes of our students by fostering a culture of academic excellence and continuous growth. You will strive to enhance the quality of teaching and learning through effective support, collaboration, and professional development opportunities for staff. Additionally, you will place great value on nurturing positive relationships among students, teachers, the wider community, and key stakeholders, recognising that strong partnerships are essential for a thriving and inclusive educational environment.
Your Responsibilities
As the Bounty Boulevard State School, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Deputise for the Principal when required.
Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
