The role
Our Robotics program continues to go from strength to strength, from state champions to world qualifiers and the foundations of the program start in our Junior School.
We are seeking several enthusiastic and passionate casuals to join our team. We are looking for a commitment of between 3 - 15 hours per week after school during term time.
Reporting to the Program Leader, these casual roles focus on teaching students the fundamentals of VEX robotics, programming, and engineering principles while fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environment.
VEX Robotics is an educational platform that offers robotics kits and competitions (from Year 5) to engage students in STEM learning. The VEX system features versatile elements that simplify engineering for beginners while providing advanced users with limitless design possibilities. Students develop skills in engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork through hands-on building and programming, preparing them for future careers in technology and engineering.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine desire to work with Junior School students
- Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of age and abilities
- A passion for Robotics and Technology
- Relevant educational experience in engineering, robotics, or a related field, preferably with VEX
- Experience with robotics competitions is desirable, not essential
- Willingness to support the ethos and values of the College
