**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Grassdale Feedlot is currently recruiting an experienced Animal Health worker to join our Livestock health team. In the Livestock Health team, you will be exposed to a wide variety of work, whilst focusing on the following key responsibilities:

- Pen riding
- Data entry and accurate record keeping using specialist feedlot systems (StockAid)
- Trough cleaning
- Diagnosis of animal health symptoms and administration of animal health treatments on site
- Ensure that cattle health, wellbeing, and performance are thoroughly monitored each day in an efficient manner and in accordance with company protocols and procedures
- Ensure cattle are handled using low stress livestock handling principles
- Ensure all livestock operations are performed safely and in accordance with company workplace health and safety requirements, policy, procedure, compliance, and regulatory requirements

**ABOUT YOU**
- Previous feedlot experience (desirable)
- Previous cattle handling and horsemanship experience and will need to supply at least two horses (up to three) to be considered for the position
- A keen attitude and willingness to learn
- A strong work ethic and great communication skills
