**The Opportunity**

The Public Relations and Communications Manager has responsibility for development, execution, and measurement of Asuria's communication initiatives, including media relations and digital content development.

This role has the opportunity to see, and be involved in, Asuria operations across Australia to capture brilliant stories with our customers, employers, team members and other stake holders. As a key marketing team member in a growing team and business you will have the ability to build a team and contribute to Asuria's Public Relations and Communications strategy.

Collaboration and innovation is valued in the Marketing team, and there is the opportunity to extend the role into other area's, and to evolve with the growing team and business

**Key Accountabilities**
- Implement PR strategic plan
- Working with our staff and customers to find and capture stories.
- Write, distribute and pitch press releases
- Manage and develop media contact database
- Work closely with supporting external PR consultant
- Manage paid media advertising opportunities
- Respond to requests for information
- Manager content workflows - from brief through to publication
- Collaborate with Digital/Social Media Managers to fulfil content briefs

**What sets you apart from the rest?**
- Media and Communications related degree valued but not essential.
- Project and budget management skills
- Ability to think both creatively and strategically.
- CMS experience valued (Hubspot or Wordpress)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal & negotiation skills
