Role Details

The Public Relations & Communications Manager is responsible for developing and delivering effective communications and PR strategies that protect and enhance the reputation of both Coronation Property and its Build to Rent brand, Nation.

This includes corporate communications at the organisational level as well as project-specific strategies across both the Build to Sell and Build to Rent portfolios, with the goal of driving reputational benefit, market confidence, and positive sentiment for Coronation and its property offerings.

The role leads the company's engagement with industry bodies and stakeholders, while also producing high-quality content and communications across multiple channels. It combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, including corporate publications, internal communications, media relations, and the planning and execution of key industry and corporate events.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role operates with accountability and autonomy, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while ensuring consistent, impactful communications during a pivotal period of growth for Coronation Property.

Role Requirements

  • 7+ years in PR, communications, or corporate affairs, ideally within property, urban development, or a related sector
  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering strategic communications to manage opportunities, mitigate risks, and navigate complex or sensitive issues
  • Proven ability to manage external PR agencies, corporate affairs consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Experience in media relations, including pitching, securing coverage, and preparing executives for interviews and speaking engagements
  • Hands-on experience producing communications outputs (EDMs, newsletters, collateral, corporate publications, annual reports, websites)
  • Strong track record in planning and delivering corporate or industry events (e.g. topping out ceremonies, launches, stakeholder briefings, award submissions)
  • Budget management and reporting experience for communications and PR programs
