**About the role**
The Scrum Master facilitates, inspires and guides Squads to realise their goals and to become successful self-supporting teams. The Scrum Master provides feedback and incorporates best practices to challenge the Squad to move on to the next level of maturity in a high performing team. The Scrum Master is responsible for the promotion, roll out and assurance of the Agile principles in the squad and for the Agile rhythm of the Squad. The Scrum Master together with the PO, protects the Squads against unwanted interference from outside and ensures that sprints are successfully completed.

Rabobank has an opening in Sydney for a Scrum Master to initially work with the CRM Squad on a migration from CRM migration to MS Dynamics 365. This role is levelled for an individual with around 2 years' experience in a Scrum Master role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- In reference to Agile best practices and learnings from previous projects, establish the scrum framework for the team
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies on Squad level and organize scrum meetings, sprint planning and task definition, sprint execution, impediment removal and tracking, sprint review, and retrospective
- Coach the team in self-organization and cross-functionality, single point of contact for the team regarding all Agile questions
- Coach individual team members and Product Owner to develop skills and Agile understanding where needed
- Work in close co-operation with the product owner in terms of planning and priorities. Support PO in Squad backlog management
- Maintain all scrum tools (roadmap, backlog, scrum board, progress charts, etc.)
- Ensure that Agile-related reporting and metrics, such as burn downs and status updates, are relevant, transparent, and add value
- Provide insights to improve team effectiveness, including progress charts and leads a scrum team with a clear understanding of business and IT context
- Ensure solid and consistent backlog administration and encourages administrative team discipline.
- Drive development of the release and sprint roadmaps
- Ensure the preconditions that a Squad can optimally perform. Resolve roadblocks related to planning and release management
- Create and stimulate good open communication in the team and stakeholders to eliminate bottlenecks or dependencies
- In partnership with the product owner, mentor/coach, scrum teams on user story sizing and acceptance criteria definition, facilitate the definition of mínimal viable product, and leads continuous refinement and prioritization of the product backlog

**Experience, Skills and Attributes you will bring to the role**:

- Ideally you will have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a Scrum Master role and previous experience working as a Business Analyst
- Experience leading Agile scrum teams in complex environments
Professional Scrum Master certification (PSM I / CSM)
- Good appreciation of Agile practices and principles, principally scrum, and experience advocating these practices and principles across cross-functional teams
- Great facilitation and presentation skills; ability to adapt approach to different types of engagements
