**About The Role**:
In this crucial role as Learning and Development Officer - Onboarding and Digital Learning, your key responsibilities will include:
**1. Lead and manage the new starters learning experience for all OAC employees successful onboarding and first 90 days across all locations. This will include**:
- Engaging relevant stakeholders to define the required learning components and processes for onboarding;
- Developing the onboarding learning pathways and deliverables (learning pathways, presentations, e-learning) including continuous review and refinement of the materials and processes to ensure effective onboarding;
- Coordinating weekly OAC induction sessions for all employees and casuals across all locations (attendees, registrations, facilitators, logistics, administration, follow-up etc). Noting this requires hybrid working on Fridays for preparation and onsite working on Mondays for setup, welcome of new starters and running of sessions;
- Facilitating induction sessions and ideally other short learning sessions
- Closely monitoring and acting to ensure full compliance against the learning requirements mandated by the Australian Fair Work and Early Years Learning frameworks.
**2. Lead and manage the digital learning experience by**:
- Leveraging our Learning Management System (LMS) to the best of its capability;
- Creating engaging digital learning pathways and content;
- Managing the administration of the LMS (users' setup, contents, settings etc).
**3. L&D process and systems improvement**:
- Contribute to the review of people & culture processes and policies - particularly those linked to onboarding and offboarding to support OAC's transformation to a campus-lead organisation.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of digital HR systems to better manage employee journeys - particularly those linked to onboarding and continuous learning.
- Contribute to the overall design and implementation of the Learning & Organisational Development team strategy and plans for all OAC employees.
**To succeed in this role, you will need**:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is desirable (not essential)
- Experience in delivering, and evaluating impactful training programs or learning initiatives.
- Experience with onboarding / first 90 days success learning pathways and content
- Understanding of adult learning principles and proficiency in instructional design methodologies.
- Experience in an early childhood education environment is a plus
