We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our Global Security Operations Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and analysing security events and incidents. You will work with industry-leading tools and frameworks to detect and respond to threats, collaborate with internal teams and external parties to resolve security issues, and contribute to documentation, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyse security events and incidents
Perform triage, escalation and investigation of alerts from various sources
Support threat detection, vulnerability management and incident response activities
Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to resolve security issues
Contribute to documentation, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Experience in cybersecurity, networking or systems administration
Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, EDR or log management platforms
Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls)
Knowledge of common cybersecurity principles, frameworks and response practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Points:
Knowledge of cloud security and compliance
Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools
Understanding of machine learning and AI applications in cybersecurity
