The Opportunity

About the Role: The Sustainability Manager - Environment and Operations is a key member of the Dexus sustainability team. This role collaborates with various teams to enhance environmental sustainability, reduce emissions and costs, and contribute to value uplift for Dexus.

Key Responsibilities:

- Embed sustainability strategy into asset and operations plans.
- Optimise asset performance and manage building ratings.
- Identify and implement sustainability initiatives within capex and opex budgets.
- Monitor and track progress to meet Dexus sustainability targets.
- Collaborate with external service providers and contractors.
- Benchmark asset performance and implement improvement plans.

About You

You are a passionate and energetic sustainability professional with a strong empathetic nature, balanced by a practical, business-minded approach. You excel in influencing outcomes and obtaining information, and you are a good listener and communicator. Your strong commercial acumen allows you to think and work at an enterprise level, and you possess excellent negotiation abilities.
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Science, Design, Environmental Sustainability, or similar.
- NABERS, Greenstar Performance professional accreditation (NABERS Assessor, GSAP); WELL accreditation desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering sustainability performance improvements in buildings.
- Strong building ratings system and rating improvement skills for NABERS, Greenstar Performance.
- Experience in leading and influencing sustainability change programs at scale.
- Strong program management skills and experience.
