Environmental professional sought to partner with business units to develop and implement national and local environmental programs, risk management strategies, and protect regulatory and social licenses to operate.

This role requires working closely with stakeholders to drive performance improvement through investigation of significant environmental incidents.

We are looking for candidates with tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or equivalent, previous experience in blue-collar, high-risk industry environments, incident investigation and root cause analysis skills, excellent written communication and report writing skills, strong time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.

About the Position

  • Maintenance of ongoing licenses to operate and development of high-performing cultures
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders to develop and implement improvement initiatives and technical programs
  • Engagement with environmental regulators to ensure strong working relationships

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience in blue-collar, high-risk industry environments
  • Incident investigation and root cause analysis skills
  • Excellent written communication and report writing skills
  • Strong time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail
