Joan Kirner Women's and Children's (JKW&C) at Sunshine Hospital, Western Health is one of the fastest growing maternity services in Australia dedicated to delivering excellent health outcomes to women of all ages, identities and cultures, and new born babies. JK W&C has expertise in general and high-risk maternity services and the care of newborn babies and gynaecology. It is a major teaching hospital with strong affiliations to the Universities of Melbourne and Notre Dame, with research and education integral to its role. This position requires experience in all aspects of Obstetric Medicine across a full range of medical specialities including working collaboratively to manage high-risk pregnancies as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
To be successful within this role you will need to have experience as an Obstetric Medicine Consultant. It is suitable for an FRACP fellow ideally accredited with RACP/SOMANZ Obstetric Medicine certification.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview which will occur in June.
The Classification and Salary scale will be dependent on experience and you will be appointed and in accordance to the AMA Victoria - Victorian Public Health Sector Medical Specialists Enterprise Agreement 2018.
