Specialist in Obstetric and Gynaecological Emergencies

We are seeking to appoint an experienced specialist in obstetric and gynaecological emergencies to our Women’s Emergency Care (WEC) team. This role offers an opportunity to develop advanced skills in this specialized area of practice, working in a supportive and collaborative environment with access to regular clinical meetings, training and professional development.
About the RoleThis consultant position is available on a part-time basis at 9.5 hours per week, offering a unique blend of flexibility and job satisfaction. As a member of our WEC team, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient-centred care, managing both obstetric and gynaecological emergencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG)
- Demonstrated experience in managing obstetric and gynaecological emergencies
