This privately owned, global real estate business has a rapidly expanding portfolio in Australia. They are seeking an ambitious Contract Administrator or Quantity Surveyor to join their internal Construction Services division.
In this role, you will provide support to the Construction Managers as well as the Development team in the cost management of all activities associated with both base building construction as well as major refurbishment and interior improvement works.
You will enjoy the opportunity to work directly on the owner side as part of a cohesive, fully integrated real estate group. This role will give you visibility to the full development lifecycle.
Responsibilities will include:
- Processing contractor / vendor payments
- Prepare budget updates and cash flow reports
- Prepare cost reports and commercial updates for the development and investor teams
- Prepare contracts and assist in negotiations
- Assist with project close-out and settlements
- Work with the Pre-Construction division as well as Asset Management teams
To be considered for this role, you will have worked for a Tier 1 - Tier 3 main contractor in the capacity of Contract Administrator for at least 3 years. You MUST have Australian experience working on significant projects (commercial office, industrial or health preferred).
