**The Opportunity**:
Do you have an eye for detail and work best with your hands? Are you drawn to working with metal and like a variety of working onsite and in the workshop?

A Sheetmetal Apprenticeship with **Aliweld Power** could be what you are looking for.

Based in **Virginia**, you will learn all aspects of sheet metal fabrication including working on site-based, pre-fabrication, aluminium work platforms, and more.

**Job Details**:
Aliweld Power has a variety of machinery on site including pressbrakes, plasma cutters, welding plants, and various other power tools.

You will get to learn all aspects of fabrication manufacturing including reading drawings, the marking out of materials, cutting and folding, welding, polishing and completion of products.

Undertaking this **four-year apprenticeship** will give you the opportunity to become a qualified tradesperson in the metal fabrication field and earn your **MEM30922 Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Sheetmetal)**.

**About You**:

- Positive attitude and genuine interest in the trade
- White Card
- Excellent communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and an understanding of hand tools
- Punctual and reliable
- Able to do additional hours including Saturday mornings when required
- Willing to work, listen and learn what the tradespeople teach you
- Reliable vehicle and current driver's licence
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen and Police Check
