We're currently recruiting Sheetmetal Apprentices to join a local manufacturing business.

What You'll Do:

As a Sheetmetal Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced tradespeople, gaining hands-on skills in:

  • Cutting, shaping and assembling metal components
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Using hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
  • Measuring and marking materials accurately
  • Assisting tradespeople with fabrication
  • Learning to work to tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Following safe work practices at all times

Who We're Looking For:

Whether you're just starting out or already have some experience and want to get qualified, we want to hear from you

To apply, you'll need to:

  • Have a driver's licence and reliable transport for early starts
  • Be punctual, reliable and eager to learn
  • Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Be able to follow instructions and work safely
  • Have experience with tools or welding, or hold a Cert II in Engineering (preferred for 1st Years)
  • Be able to read technical drawings (for advanced applicants)
  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
