Our client, **Allcast Precast** specialise in manufacturing high quality concrete water tanks and plunge pools on the Sunshine Coast and are seeking an experienced **Production Manager **to join their growing team

Allcast Precast has been in operation for 60 years as a highly regarded tank and water treatment plant manufacturer to the South-East Queensland region. In recent years, the business has diversified to produce high end, fully tiled plunge pools nationally. The business is built on a solid foundation of strong family values and focussed teamwork, with a large number of the 50 person strong team, having been with the company for more than 10-15 years.

**About the opportunity**

As Production Manager, you are responsible for the entire manufacturing process from planning, coordinating and controlling the quality of the final product of our wide range of concrete pool and tank products. You will have a focus on managing a safe working environment, identifying process efficiencies and managing cost effective production practices. In addition, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing all aspects of the production process
- Display proactive leadership across our production teams including building and motivating individuals
- Ensuring excellent customer service and quality of product
- Managing all administrative processes and performance reporting

**About You**

You are self-motivated and confident when it comes to coordinating and managing small teams. You possess a "can-do" attitude which compliments your open and inclusive leadership style and great communication skills.

Above all else, we ask that you are passionate about what you do and that you have a genuine interest in manufacturing and the challenges that come with leading a team towards continued success. In addition, you will have:

- Experience within a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing industry
- Qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or similar is advantageous however not essential
- Demonstrated experience within Precast Concrete products is highly desirable
- Proven track record managing small teams is essential
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment without compromising a high quality finished product
