**The Role**
We are always on the lookout for trade qualified
**Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters/ HD Mechanics to support our WA operations on**
**2/1 or 8/6 roster available, variety of work across a range of sites.**

**_Key responsibilities for this role include:_**
- Be proactive in continually improving our industry-leading safety performance and upholding the importance of Zero Harm for both personnel and equipment;
- Ensure maintenance schedules are carried out as per work order requirements;
- Provide repairs and maintenance on offroad trucks, trailers and mobile equipment
- Be involved with close inspection of truck and trailer equipment;
- Conducting pre-start checks on all equipment prior to its use;
- Completion of plant mechanical repairs and plant operation as required; and
- Diagnosis and fault finding for breakdowns.

**_The successful applicant will possess the following:_**
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter;
- Minimum of 12 months' post trade experience, maintaining truck and trailer and CAT & Komatsu mobile earthmoving equipment;
- Strong diagnostic and fault finding ability;
- Current driver's license;
- Commitment to safety and working as part of a team; and
- Must have works right in Australia;
- Computer literacy and ability to maintain effective record keeping
