At Plain English Foundation, we empower professionals to improve their English writing skills and enable clear communication through tailored training and editing services.

For the past 20 years, we have trained over 30,000 professionals and evaluated over 50,000 documents for more than 400 organisations. Our editors use their expertise on many influential projects for an extensive range of government and private clients.

Did you know that online engagement across government and business has increased significantly in the last 2 years increasing the need for plain English writing skills? Plain English Foundation is growing and needs experienced trainers to join our team.

At Plain English Foundation, we support flexible work practices and are looking for full time, part time and casual or contractor trainers to join our team.

As a member of our training team, you will lead our interactive, practical workshops, helping our prestigious government and private sector clients to produce clear and effective communications.

You will model high standards of Australian writing style, have a university degree and preferably a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This will support you in:

- delivering full-day training in face-to-face and virtual environments
- expertly managing groups of professionals in their workplace, and thriving on the challenge
- confidently discussing language at an advanced level and giving feedback
- using IT systems and software.

We will provide you the materials, professional development and support you need to quickly become a plain language expert who can transfer those skills to our clients.
