Overview
The client, a software solutions technology provider, is seeking an experienced Linux Engineer with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration experience in large-scale environments for a permanent role near the Perth CBD.
Responsibilities
Provide advanced administration, support and troubleshooting
Install, configure and upgrade infrastructure
Consult with the client/project team to provide technical expertise
Monitor system performance and reliability
Support the team through technical deployments and system migrations
Key experience
Proven enterprise scale experience with administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers is required
Knowledge of Windows/VMware environments would be advantageous
Experience working with network infrastructure environments (switching, routing)
Knowledge of ITIL framework / Service Management tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability
Relevant certifications / education would be highly regarded
Desirable Experience
Experience with AWS, Nutanix, VMware, Informix, Pronto AND/OR Oracle would be advantageous (but not mandatory)
