Abdex predominantly service **Oil & Gas**, **Mining, Hydraulic,** and **Industrial Services** sectors. Our facility in Forrestdale is equipped with the latest assembly, testing and servicing equipment as well as providing NATA proof pressure testing, hose inspection and management services.

**The Role**

As a **Hose Technician**, you'll play a key role in the assembly, testing and servicing of high-performance hose products.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Manufacturing specialist hose assemblies to strict quality standards
- Conducting pressure testing and inspections to specified criteria
- Operating a variety of hose assembly tools and equipment
- Loading and unloading trucks / containers
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workspace
- Adhering to all workplace health and safety procedures
- **Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm**
- **Overtime available**

**About You**

We're looking for a hands-on, mechanically minded team player with a strong work ethic.

**To be successful, you'll need**:
? Previous experience in a similar role (hose assemblies, valves, tubing, or fluid transfer equipment)

? Good mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment

? Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

? A positive, proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team

? Excellent time management and communication

? Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects (20kg+)

? Current forklift and driver's licence

? **Full working rights in Australia**

- 8 hour shift
