Responsible for providing support of HSEQ compliance, management plans and procedures across a range of Construction and Remediation Defence projects. This opportunity will see an experienced HSE Advisor stepping into a well-established safety team, overseeing compliance across multiple sites throughout Sydney and surrounding areas

**THE ROLE**
- Assist project teams in the preparation and implementation of HSEQ documentation
- Coach, advise and educate site personnel of legislative requirements & changes to comply with company procedures
- Administer incident and hazard reporting processes and actions as per company procedures
- Assist management to encourage a healthy safe and environmentally responsible working culture amongst personnel
- Conduct HSEQ site inspections and audits,
- Coach site teams on effective delivery of pre-start meetings and Toolbox meetings
- Coordinate HESQ training programs including the maintenance of competency standards
- Actively analyse HSEQ performance, reporting, system updates
- Maintain the company Integrated Management System to an accredited level
- Compile project specific HSEQ documentation to support tender bids as needed

**ABOUT YOU**
- Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in a HSE advisor role, within the construction industry
- Exposure to Fit out and scaffold works is beneficial for the role
- Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a similar discipline
- Experience in the creation and reviewing of Management Plans, SWMS, JHA's and conducting Audits
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
- Understanding of Quality Management processes
- Ability to operate autonomously whilst ensuring project efficiency
