HSEQ Advisor role at Alliance SI

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of HSEQ policies, procedures, and strategic programs aligned with business goals.
  • Work with operational leaders to drive proactive compliance through risk management, audits, and site inspections.
  • Oversee incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis, corrective actions, and insights inform broader safety improvements.
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver impactful HSEQ training and engagement initiatives to build a strong safety and quality culture.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on HSEQ performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Manage HSEQ systems and ensure timely, accurate documentation and reporting for both internal leadership and external regulatory bodies.
  • Support worker wellbeing, safety leadership, and psychosocial hazard initiatives.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and business continuity efforts.
About You
  • Have demonstrated experience in HSEQ, safety leadership, or a related discipline, with a proven ability to influence and embed best practices across diverse environments.
  • Be willing to travel to support your portfolio (including interstate).
  • Engage a deep understanding of HSEQ legislation, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards, with the ability to translate them into practical business solutions.
  • Possess strong strategic planning, organisational, and project management skills.
  • Have exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to partner across all levels of the organisation and drive cultural change.
  • Always have a sharp attention to detail combined with advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Be technologically savvy, with proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint. Experience with Smartsheets or similar platforms is highly regarded.
